Tech specs are below but the pros and cons of this camera are. Pros: Very portable. Records a standard VGA resolution (640x480) at 60fps with a shutter speed up to 1/10,000th of a second. This camera has a global shutter (meaning the shaft does not warp artificially) and connects to a standard USB2.0 port. Cons: The small image sensor means it doesn't perform very well indoors and the field of view isn't very wide so you need about 12 to 14' distance between the camera and the player. In summary: If you are recording outdoors or with sufficient light this is the easiest setup you could hope for. If you are doing 2-camera capture you should have 2 USB hubs. For example on a laptop you should have one camera connected to the computer and the 2nd camera connected to an ExpressCard adapter. Using a desktop PC it would be recommended to plug 1 camera into the built-in USB ports and 1 camera into a PCI (or PCI Express) card. Camera connects to the computer with a standard USB cable available through us or monoprice.com We include a free 15' cable with the camera. The price shown is for the camera body only - you will still need a lens. We sell 2 primary lenses. We sell a fixed 4mm lens for $25 which is good from a fixed distance of roughly 14'. Alternately we have a variable focal range lens which adjusts from 2.8mm (a very wide field of view) to 12mm and costs around $60. The 2.8mm setting is useful if you have limited room. You can get about 8' away if you mount the camera head height at a slight down-angle or 10' away if you mount the camera belly height face on or down the line.
