    How to Use

ChippingPro is an intuitive, simple chipping aid, helping you to learn how to chip like a pro.

    Step 1

Place the ChippingPro on a flat surface where you have sufficient space to swing the club. This can be outside on the range, on the course or in your back garden, inside your garage or even in the office.

    Step 2

Pick a target you will aim at and where you want your ball to come to a stop. Remember - be careful if you're inside!

    Step 3

Place the ball in the Hitting Zone, set the Indicator Flap to a 35° angle (max allowed)
and address the ball as you would a normal chip shot

    Step 4

Make your backswing & downswing for the shot you want to play, avoiding the
obstruction block at the rear of the ChippingPro as you swing

    Step 5

Hit the ball towards the target you selected, making sure you strike the Indicator Flap with the clubhead as you follow through.

A well-executed chip will result in the Indicator Flap being pushed flat and the ball moving towards your target. A poorly-executed chip will leave the Indicator Flap in a raised position. Even if the ball goes to the target, you have failed if the flap remains raised.

The Indicator Flap indicates whether you have used the Hinge & Hold Method

A Raised Flap = No Hinge & Hold

With 1 hour of solid practice, you will have instilled a repeatable chipping action.

Watch with satisfaction as your ball finishes near your target every time!

    CHIPPING TIPS FROM CHIPPINGPRO:

    Play the Percentage Shot

Now you can chip, you will start feeling the confidence flowing through your body. This is good, but don't get carried away. Play the chip shot you know you can play, not the miracle shot.

Using 1 Wedge vs Using Different Wedges

Some professional golfers, such as Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and

Seve Ballesteros use 1 club for most of their chip shots. Some use a

variety of clubs, such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlory and others.

There is no right or wrong, just do what you feel most comfortable with.

    Visualise the shot

When chipping, you will no longer have to worry about hitting the ball properly. ChippingPro has helped you overcome that!

Now you should focus on the following things:

    • Where to land it?

    • What trajectory does it need?

    • How will it roll?

    • Will it break right or left?

Say "No" to the Flop Shot

The flop shot is the TV producers dream. It is exciting, beautiful and as dangerous as golf gets. Therefore, if there is a flop shot in a professional golf tournament, it is shown on TV. However, you should always remember that the person doing it is a professional golfer, with years of experience and hundreds of hours of practice every month. That is why they can play that shot. But for a typical golfer, it's not a sensible choice. It will often make your score worse, not better.

    Don't forget about putting

Now you can chip, your chips will go closer to the hole than before.

Taking 3 from the edge  of the green when your chip didn't get inside 20 feet was ok. But now you are regularly chipping within 6 feet, missed short putts will hurt you and your scorecard. Practice your putting, get up AND down.
