Most Common Swing Issues
How the Power Shift Board can help you unleash hidden distance.

Late Weight Shift & Poor Sequencing

- Load stays back → weak shots and early release
- Upper body leads → loss of lag and power
- No feel for timing → inconsistent tempo and rhythm
With the Power Shift Board
- Click trains transition → start shifting before the downswing
- Press lead foot → lower body fires first for more lag
- Audible cue → groove smooth, repeatable tempo
Sliding or Swaying
- Hips slide laterally → poor rotation and balance
- Feet roll or lift → unstable base, off‑center contact
- Over‑sway → inconsistent ball striking and accuracy
With the Power Shift Board
- Stable spikes → keep feet grounded during motion
- Press instead of slide → pivot around a solid lead leg
- Feel balanced → maintain centre and strike pure
Hanging Back & Fat Shots
- Weight stays right → chunked shots and topped balls
- Club flips at impact → thin contact and no compression
- Late pivot → weak ball flight and loss of control
With the Power Shift Board
- Click ensures weight forward → crisp ball‑then‑turf contact
- Align arm & club → hands ahead for solid compression
- Early shift → generate a powerful, penetrating flight
What Makes the Power Shift Board So Effective
- Spring‑loaded design → train timing & sequence: The front section compresses under pressure, producing a click the moment you shift to your lead side. This teaches you to start the weight transfer before your downswing and to fire your lower body first.
- Durable & portable → practice anywhere: Made from tough yet lightweight materials, the board weighs just a few pounds and has spikes for stability. You can use it on grass, carpet or a hitting mat without worrying about wear.
- Instant feedback → learn by sensation: The audible click and slight movement let you feel when your weight reaches the lead side. There is no need for mirrors or cameras; you learn by feel rather than by thinking about positions.
- Improves power & distance → unlock ground force: Proper weight shift lets you push against the ground and use the kinetic chain. This translates into greater clubhead speed and longer, straighter shots.
- Suitable for all golfers → versatile training: Because the board is non‑handed and adjustable through foot placement, it works for right‑ and left‑handed players. You can use it for full swings, pitching or chipping to learn how pressure controls trajectory.
Simple Effective Drills / How to Use
Familiarize & Align
Place the board on a flat surface with the arrow pointing toward your target. Step on with equal weight on both feet and cross your arms. Gently sway back and press your lead foot until you hear the click. Repeat until you can feel the timing without looking down.
Pressure Shift Sequence Drill
Without a ball, take half to three‑quarter swings. Load your weight to your trail side in the backswing, then press into the board just before the top. Listen for the click and let your lower body lead as you swing through. This drill grooves a smooth transition.
Teed‑Ball Practice Drill
To start hitting shots, tee the ball so it sits level with the board. Make slow, controlled swings—back, click, and through—allowing the click to happen before your downswing. Focus on rhythm and contact rather than distance.
Step‑Off Transfer Drill
Set the board about two club‑head widths behind a ball. Take a few swings on the board to feel the pressure shift, then step off and hit the ball, aiming to replicate the same sensation without the click. This transfers the feel into a regular swing.
